Our Austin Southwest 290 center is located in the Southwest Center Shopping Center at the intersection of Highway 290 and Derecho Drive across from the Valero Gas Station.

We know that injuries are never scheduled, but relief can be. If you're injured, tired of having less mobility or experiencing aches and pains, let our licensed clinical experts help.  

We provide comprehensive outpatient physical therapy to individuals suffering from injury or pain associated with sports injuries, back/neck pain, joint problems, balance disorders and work-related injuries. Our therapists work with you and create an individualized treatment plan to help you quickly return to daily activities, work duties and recreational pursuits.

Our Team

Stephen Black, P.T. - Center Manager

Stephen Black loves helping people get back to their active lives. He became a physical therapist after playing ice hockey for many years and going through rehab for his injuries. Stephen brings more than two decades of experience to his role as physical therapist and center manager at the SW 290 center, located between Austin and Dripping Springs. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, playing with his goats and exploring the Hill Country. He and his wife have four children. Early in Stephen's career, a patient said, "Thank you for giving me my life back," and it made a profound impact on him as a physical therapist.
