Our Fort Worth Sports Therapy center is located in the Texas Orthopaedic Center at the intersection of Altamesa Blvd and Chisolm Trail Pkwy.

Our Team

Ashley Brandish, P.T., DPT, OCS, CSOMT, FAAOMPT, CSCS, Center Manager

Ashley graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from the Texas Women's University in 2018. Since then, she has obtained her strength and conditioning specialist certificate, sports and orthopedic manual physical therapy certificate, became a board certified specialist in orthopedics, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Ashley specializes in the treatment of adolescent athletes, as well as the active adult and weekend warrior. As a former soccer player who had three knee surgeries, Ashley is passionate about returning athletes to sport and injury prevention. She says "Patients can expect me to do everything I can to help them return to their activity. If I can't, I will help them navigate the medical system more efficiently to get the help they need."

Kaitlin Meske Thornton, P.T., DPT

Kaitlin was raised in Waco, Tex. and has now settled in Fort Worth. She has been a clinician with us since 2021. She graduated with her bachelor's in biology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2015 then obtained her doctorate in physical therapy from the Texas Women's University in 2021. She is certified in level one functional dry needling from Evidence in Motion. Kaitlin specializes in general orthopedics and post-surgical rehabilitation. She primarily treats athletes, geriatrics and women (peripartum). She says, "It brings me joy to be a part of the recovery process! I love helping people get back to feeling like themselves after injury, surgery or pain limits them in any way."

Kara Looten, P.T., DPT

Kara is a dedicated physical therapist who enjoys treating patients of all ages, from athletes to the elderly. She understands the importance of tailored care and strives to provide patients with personalized treatments that meet their unique needs and goals. She says "My passion for helping others regain their strength and mobility led me to pursue a career in physical therapy where I can blend my athletic background with my dedication to health and wellness." She obtained her bachelors and doctorate degree in physical therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is dry needling certified from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Outside of her practice, she enjoys golfing and running, passions that keep her connected to the active lifestyle she promotes in her patients.
